Thank you for your interest in our pheasant hunt at Carr Farm. The Carr Farm was homesteaded in 1882 and has provided a home for three generations of the Carr Family. We would be delighted to have you as our guest at the Carr Farm.
We have 1280 acres of prime food plots and excellent cover that have been a private hunting farm for many years, and are now just available for your enjoyment. Grouse, prairie chickens and partridge are a bonus to our high pheasant population.
Kennels and care for your dog are included at no extra charge. We have black labs that are exceptional dogs and really make the hunt the best you've ever imagined.
Our full service hunting package includes:
  • 4 nights lodging, 3 days hunting
  • 3 meals (home cooked - full course)

  • Guided hunts with well-trained dogs

  • Required licenses

  • All beverages
  • Bird processing
  • Freezing/packaging

  • Airport transportation from Pierre and Huron, SD
  • 4 pheasants per day (up to 15 pheasants a day may be shot at $25.00 a bird over the 4 bird limit)
Our full service hunting package is $1,650.00 per hunter (5% SD state sales tax not included). An advance, non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for confirmation of hunting days by July 1. (Round-trip airport transportation from Sioux Falls will be at a charge of $50.00 per hunter.)

Several weeks are already reserved for next season, so make your reservations well in advance. With the completion of our new lodge, we can now accommodate up to 20 guests at one time.

According to the number of pheasant hens we saw last season, we are looking forward to a large increase in our hatch. October 1st through December 1st are the most pleasant dates to hunt because of the weather.
We also have excellent dove hunting starting in early September. Dove shooting in the morning and pheasants in the afternoon!
